Today's Activities

DLT: By the end of the project, students will be able to create a simple frame by frame animation based on a Muybridge Motion Study using Adobe Animate.
  1. Paycheck 3 (p3 & 5)
  2. Check Frame by Frame Animation (p3)
  3. Choose a Muybridge Motion Study, add it to your Artist Studies gDoc & Document the Source of it.
  4. Begin the Rotoscope Animation using the Muybridge Motion Study you selected above. Save as Muybridge1-YourName.fla - Template
  5. ?? Complete Khan Academy / Pixar Unit - Animation

Wednesday / Thursday, February 7 / 8, 2018 - Block Schedule

  • Sketch: NOTES - Intro to Animation 12 Principles - list and describe
  • Sketch3: NOTES - Frame by Frame Animation (gDoc)
  • Sketch4: Draw the Flash Timeline. Label a Frame, Keyframe, and the Playhead.
  • Sketch5: Draw at least 3 different poses of the horse in motion from this page

    1. The teacher will pass out 15-20 post-it notes per student
    2. Create an animation that is at least 12 frames (cards) long

      3. Some Animation Tutorials from the Angry Animator
      4. How to Make a Flip Book Animation (You Tube Vid 4:31)
